JOSEP SAGUER, luthier

Construction, repair and restoration of bowed string instruments. Repair, restoration and maintenance of harpsichords and fortepianos.

Born in Figueres, after his musical training he entered the world of the construction and repair of instruments, first on keyboard instruments -harpichords and fortepianos- and after on bowed string instruments as violins, violas and cellos. He studied at the "Escuela malagueña de luthería" with José Ángel Chacón and at the Accademia Perosi in Biella (Italy) studying the "Master di liuteria e restauro" taught by Carlos Arcieri and Gabriele Negri. He has also performed at the Atelier Beaumanoir of François Perego in Dinan (France) on the process of preparing wood and varnishing in lutherie.

PETR AUREDNIK, bow maker

He has become one of the most respected bowmakers in Europe, with clients all around the world. From 2011 he regularly visits the Musitekton workshop to make rehairings, repairs and restorations of violin, viola, cello and double bass bows. In our store we have his bows.
