The WMutes Practice Mute for violin or viola is specially designed to produce a high-quality muted sound for your instrument.

The amount of sound muted is similar to that of a standard practice mute but its design and materials produce a much richer, more stable and focused sound.

Made from a specially refined brass, the WMutes are plated with 24k gold, ruthenium or silver with the same sound quality. The mutes are available in a matt or bright finish.

A rubberized cork inner surface allows for a smooth fit on the bridge, and its integrated clip-style system greatly improves ease of use.

It does not change the intonation of the strings and does not generate uncomfortable wolf notes.
